Boxing Australia has been invited to the 37th International Men Elite Tammer Tournament to be held in Tampere in October. Boxing Australia is offering this to eligible athletes as a "User Pays Opportunity". Any one wishing to take up this opportunity should advise Boxing ACT, via the Admin Officer, so that Boxing Australia can be advised.
The dates for this year's tournament are 21 - 23 October 2016 which means that the tournament will be 3 days competition this time. This year's tournament is a perfect opportunity to test new boxers after Rio Olympiad. Categories will be filled on a first come - first in basis; as there can only be maximum 8 boxers per category.
