Nominations
Make sure you have discussed your nomination with your coach and your coach's contact details are included in your nomination! You should also ask your coach to nominate themselved online under the "coach" category of nomination.
Please nominate for the weight division in which you intend to compete. Ensure your gender is entered to display the correct weight division, noting that there are separate junior categories for athletes that will not turn 17 or older in 2024.
Catchweights will not be used. The current weight field on the nomination form is only there to allow the matchmaker to assess your likelihood of making your nominated weight division.
Boxers will not be offered an alternative match if their coach refuses an offered match that meets the age/experience/weight matching criteria contained within the Boxing Australia Technical and Competition Regulations.
Draw
The draw will be published on the Event Page on Boxing ACT's website in the week leading up the event.
Clearances
Boxers and coaches who are members of interstate associations (eg Boxing NSW, Boxing Victoria) must request clearance from their State/Territory Member Association. Clearance is conducted for each tournament to ensure that interstate boxers hold a current membership, and that interstate coaches hold current membership and accreditation. Clearances should be completed as soon as possible and no later than 5 days before the tournament.
Boxing ACT members need to ensure that they have uploaded to their profile a photo of the medical page of their book and a copy of their blood tests for HIV and Hepatitis. Remember that blood tests for adult boxers must have been done within 6 months of the tournament date. You can update your profile by going to our website and clicking the "Login" button at top right-hand side. If you can't remember your username or password, click "Login" then "Forgot login details?"
