This course will introduce you to the basic skills of refereeing boxing bouts. You may have already completed some Judge training and practice, but newcomers will be able to do judge training at a later date.

There is no charge for the course itself but you must be or become a current member of Boxing ACT, for insurance purposes. You can join or renew via this page: https://www.boxingact.org.au/registration/  Join/renew as a "Referee/Judge" (no fee) unless you are also registering as a boxer or coach.

On completion of the course you will need to get practical experience at sparring days and tournaments to qualify. The R&J Supervisor will discuss the options with you.

This course is only available to people living in Canberra or the immediate surrounding region.
It is intended for people willing and able to develop and use their skills at Canberra tournaments.
